I was up and down with this book a lot. Chances of reading the next one are high so I guess it wasn‘t that bad.

Kind of glad this is almost over. I‘m not sure how I feel about this spinoff. 18 year olds in charge of every thing, crazy zombies, worlds colliding, and all in one day. Sheesh.

I have not read any of the previous books. I had never even heard of them. Of course, I am an adult, and probably not who this series was marketed to. I have to say, the book did seem very juvenile. A bunch of kids playing at being adults, every teens fantasy.

The description of the book made it sound much better than it actually was. This is a book for teens. Adults will just get annoyed with it.

haileybean I read the first half of the House of Night series and as a teenager I felt there was something off about the writing. Sort of like they were trying to place too much emphasis on the ā€teenage voice,ā€¯ but ended up making it sound like adults mimicking teens on old sitcoms 6y

LaLecture I read the first four House of Night books as a teen and already didn‘t like them. Awful style of writing, annoying characters. That‘s why I never tried out other books by the authors. Apparently I‘m not missing out on anything š…. 6y

I was sooooo excited when I discovered we were going to get to go back to the House of Night with the Nerd Herd! I devoured this book fairly quickly. It was just as loveable as the rest of the books. It was cool to see how everyone's lives have changed since the conclusion of the series, and the unexpected challenges and conflict were really interesting.
