1. It's my blogging/Social media name. I got it from the Christopher Pike novel The Midnight Club. I named by personal book club The Midnight Book Club, so it's been my identity for over a decade.
2. Thankful for the Hubs, who bought us a new Christmas tree 🎄 and listened to Xmas music as we fluffed it last night. Decorating this Sunday!

1. I doubt we'll get many trick or treaters, which makes me sad. We don't get a ton usually, but still. We might leave out some candy at the end of the driveway, and curl up and watch horror movies.
2. October!! It's my favorite month and the wait for it always seems sooooo long!

#3Books that gave me a book hangover

I don't get many book hangovers or reading slumps, partly because I read multiple books at once and partly because I run a bunch of book clubs and have to review books for the bookstore, and mostly because my thirst for books is unquenchable.
BUT, these 3 books left me an emotional puddle. So I had to wait for my tears to dry, but I love them anyways.
#3Books ... that made me cry. I'm a fairly easy crier, so these aren't just books that wrecked me, but books I return to when I'm in need of a good tear storm. @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @OriginalCyn620
Day 6 of the #30DayBookChallenge is a Book that broke your heart.
This book wrecked me, but did that stop me from immediately re-reading it when I finished it? No, no it did not. I NEVER do that anymore, I usually move on to the next book because my job is to read books, lots of them. But the story of a girl accidentally causing the death of her bestie, and then falling for the brother of bestie, just deliciously destroyed me.
1. These Things I've Done. I reread it immediately and then I've reread parts of it since. This almost never happens anymore.
2. Kevin Hearne!
3. Murder on the Orient Express
4. The between The Iron Druid series by Hearne and the fun Off Campus series be Elle Kennedy.
5. All the Crooked Saints by Maggie Stiefvater
6 & 7. The Hate U Give and Young Jane Young (and a dozen more!)

I thought I'd pick a newer title because this is a book I already feel sentimental towards. It's also one of those rare books that I immediately re-read after finishing it. I ended up selling this copy an hour after I took the picture. At least it's going to a good home. ❤

pickI don't know if swoon crying is a thing, but this book had me doing both. I really loved Dara, her strength and fearlessness pre-accident, and the grieving but determined Dara post accident, and watching her slowly piece herself back together was my second favorite thing. My most favorite thing was Ethan, that's where the swooning bit comes in. Totally worth the runny nose and leaking eyes I have after finishing the book! ❤❤❤❤❤
I am LOVING this book. As much as I'm lookong forward to Hubs coming home from work soon, I kind of just want time read this book. ;)
