National Geographic Kids: Elephants is a great NF book to introduce informational text to young readers. This would be a great book to use for teaching science. The National Geographic for kids website has fun videos and games for kids that are also helping them learn and getting them interested in science. http://kids.nationalgeographic.com #UCFLAE3414su17

DrSpalding National Geographic is an excellent choice for nonfiction for your students. This book could be nicely paired with The One and Only Ivan as well to explain factual information about elephants. 🐘 7y
