There is nothing very original about When They Come for You, an international revenge tale that reads like a Hollywood Thriller. This is not a bad thing. Hall peppers this tale with a protagonist worthy of cheering for, an eclectic group of supporting players and some over the top badies, and enough plot and action to keep both sides of your brain intrigued. Narrator Michelle Ferguson handles the tale well, without a lot of bells and whistles.

Despite the schlocky title, this is a quality international mystery.

This was a pretty good Kindle First selection, if a little far-fetched. I think this is the first of a series, they left a few plot points up in the air. #MountTBRChallenge #13

I got this book through the Amazon first books program. I did enjoy this book, so don't let the so-so rating discourage you. This storyline could be ripped from the headlines (and probably was). The ending doesn't resolve as fully as I would have liked. Instead, the author leaves it open for another book. This is a nice read if you aren't looking for something too deep. Would be great for travel. It just left me wanting more details.
