Taking care of her little brother Max. Keeping up with her homework. Making sure the family has clean clothes. Cooking dinner twice a week. Trying to be grown up and responsible takes up too much of 12-year-old Zoe Hutchins' day. She'd rather being drawing, painting and working toward her dream career as an artist. Deciding to enter a local art contest, she discovers trying to be grown up is even harder than she thought. Without balance in her life, Zoe finds herself in trouble, both at school and at home and suddenly there's Not Enough Time for anything.

Working is really getting in the way of my reading books, listening to audiobooks, listening to podcasts about books, and looking at lists to add to my TBR. Just NOT ENOUGH TIME to do all the book things....

Linda906 @carriepaige This one is Professional Book Nerds. It‘s a podcast that is recorded by two Overdrive librarians. One of my favorites- LOTS of good recs and really good author interviews. It‘s Overdrive‘s official@podcast. I listen to so many bookish podcasts. But love them all! 6y

Mt. TBR just keeps getting larger #blameitonlitsy. I wanted to see if I should cull my list a bit or "let it ride." According to the Pew Research Center, I should live by my Litsy tagline... "Life's to shortto read bad fiction."
Hubby thinks the data is aggressive and that the average female reader will not read one book a month. However many of the Litsy readers will blow these numbers away.
(Subsequent post will have male data.)

Lynnsoprano I average better than one book per week. At 66, it looks like I have plenty of books ahead of me. To get through my TBR, I need to find the philosopher‘s stone 😄 7y

SandyW @Lynnsoprano Tell me about it. I probably need to live to be 150 to tackle my TBR and another 80ish books a year (to marginally cover new releases). I read 156 this year. 7y
