I just loved this author‘s take on Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson, the story was a true adventure and I was lift guess right to the end.

Bonnie Macbird captures the tone and the pacing of Sir Arthur in this, her second Holmes/Watson novel. Set, for the most part, in the Scottish Highlands, the duo set out to solve the mysteries revolving the McLaren family. Ghosts from Sherlock‘s past, and the Castle Braedern loom large. Details on Whiskey distillery are fascinating.
