pickThis Biography would be great for choral reading in a small group. I think that students could use this to better understand the importance of Rosa Parks as it tells the details of who she was and why she did what she did. It goes from when she said no on the bus all the way through how she never stopped fighting for what she believed in. Students can learn and discuss the importance and how we are where we are today because of her #UCFLAE3414SU19
Macker11 Students will use ESOL #2 which promotes cooperation as they work in the small groups discussing and reading this book together. Which also goes with UDL 8.3. DawnS I love this! I just read a book that I would think is targeted for younger students on Rosa Parks as well, Back of the Bus. I like your website link and activity. If I modified it just a bit, I think the focus of the assignment could still be accomplished even for younger students. 5y
