There are great concepts here, but it would need work to be a successful novel. Too much telling and not showing. Plotting is messy, with a this happened and then this happened & major action happening off screen. The narrative has asides explaining leftist political thought that are insertions of non-fic. Characterization is shallow. The book suffers from a mindset where its function as a political tool overshadows the fact that it's fiction. ☹️
