There‘s definitely an agenda with this book. I noticed that what she leaves out is just as important as what she leaves in. There‘s no discussion about the benefit of pre-K for upper-class students—because very often, there isn‘t any.
My mom taught kindergarten for nearly thirty years so I've heard her discuss early childhood education with many colleagues. This book pretty much reiterated everything she believed about educating Pre-K and K children. Amazing. A must read for parents who will find plenty of food for thought about what to look for in a quality school for their child
