I thought this was an interesting book. It gave some good information about meat as well as other random things like rice, salts, and flour. I think there's more to be learned than in this book, but I enjoyed all the pictures!

Spending my day without kids reading and walking. Gotta try to get 10 miles at least one of these weeks!
This book is awesome and is on my "to buy" list to add to my kitchen library. So much good information.

The food scientist answers so many questions: which veggies to eat raw; poaching the perfect egg; why chocolate tastes so good; reheating rice; making succulent fish every time; etc. Chapters cover various food types, nutritional myth-busting, and cooking implements. #blameLitsy #blameMrBook 😎
