The other is the one American who can save CARDINAL and lead the world to the brink of peace…or war. Here is author Tom Clancy’s heart-stopping masterpiece. Pickpick

I loved this book as a kid and am looking for another of the same genre (East Europe, dangerous circumstances and a protagonist that I can believe in). Any suggestions?

#feistyfeb #day25 #internationalcrime This is one of Clancys lesser known spy thrillers. A US spy satellite reveals the Soviets (this is Cold War era) are building a huge laser defence system controlled from war torn Afghanistan. America needs the help of its highest placed mole inside the Kremlin, but he's about to be betrayed to the KGB. Jack Ryan is sent in to extract him and his knowledge before WWIII starts.
