The Bureau of Preternatural Investigations returns in Switchback, the sequel to Melissa F. Olson's Nightshades. Switchback is an excellent continuation of the story started in Nightshades. I love the fresh new spin on vampires (shades) and the Bureau of Preternatural Investigations. It reads more like a mystery with interesting supernatural elements. This instalment offered me a chance to get to know the main characters, Lindy and Alex, better. The cliffhanger ending has me wanting more - I will buy the next book and can't wait until it comes out!
