#UCFWalterslit 'Pop! The Invention of Bubble Gum' by Meghan McCarthy is a non-fiction picture book about how bubble gum was made. I really didn't expect all of the facts in this book to be true, but they are! (Proof: http://www.anb.org/articles/07/07-00839.html) This book is super cute and could be used as a read aloud in a classroom where students are learning about gum, inventors, or even history! I would definitely recommend this book!

This is a great NF of how bubble gum was invented. Gum which has been around for centuries, till 1928 when an accountant at a candy store decided to perfect different recipes. This is a good IR, for any student who is interested in NF and bubble gum. #UCFLAE3414F17
