#Recommendsday The Lost Memory of Skin is a book I read a couple of years ago. It has stuck with me. It follows the actions and aftermath of those actions faced by the main character, The Kid. He is a young man from a challenged background who makes a mistake and has to live with the consequences. The book explores his very limited options and forces the reader to question how little our society offers for the unfortunate and for rehabilitation.
