panThis book did not age well (copyright 1999). This started off like most cozy mysteries then the plot went to drugs in such a weird way, strong reactions to drunk driving and pot smoking but lukewarm reactions ,even understanding of, drug dealing - the characters including the MC were not very nice to each other - just not the warm fuzzy murder mystery I usually get with a cozy - 🙂
