The UDL principle that goes along with this book is 3.2 which is highlighting patterns,critical features, big ideas, and relationships since the book covers the multiple relationships that Earth has with the solar system, humans, animals, etc. ESOL strategy 5 goes along with this book. 4y

In the non-fiction picture book by Stacy Mcanulty you learn about our beautiful planet, planet Earth and what it has been up to the last 4.54 billion. The book is a good read aloud book and can be discoed during the science block of the school day or even on Earth Day to promote awareness. The UDL principle is 3.2 and the ESOL STRATEGY is 4. I love how this book incorporates geography, astronomy, history, and more in a fun and silly way. It‘s full of important facts about the earth, and the illustrations promote diversity. It also includes lots of non-fiction text features and would be appropriate for all primary and secondary grade levels. šˇš¨š¸
