I was wearing a black and white tuxedo I'd rented from the mall; it was two sizes too big, but I chose it because the teenage salesman told me I looked "like a straight-up pimp with a degree in pimping" when I tried it on. My dad thought I looked "like a penguin with AIDS."
His father goes on to say, "I'm not teaching you to pass the test. I'm teaching you how to drive. Driving is not always a stroll through the woods with your pants down."
"I hadn‘t gone to one dance in my entire high school career. I was six foot tall and a hundred and twenty pounds. When I danced, I looked like a praying mantis on fire."

Needed something "light" after finishing listening to the Up and Vanished podcast. Any audiobook recommendations for my long commute? #5Book5Bingo #trafficsucks
To me, S**t My Dad Says was more laugh-out-loud funny than this book, but this one is funnier in that awkward way that friends telling you stories about embarrassing (but not too embarrassing) moments in their lives is funny. It‘s touching and relatable.
Reading funny books this season. I need more funny!
I enjoyed this short book for its candor and its....circuitousness (?) It comes beautifully full circle with stories that are truly cringe-worthy with awkwardness. Also, the authors hysterically blunt father is wonderfully woven in. Recommend!
Once again my commute is made much more enjoyable by listening to something so humorous! People driving by me must have really be wondering LOL 😂 This book covers much of Justin's young life leading up to where the last book started and wraps up the last book very nicely. I laughed out loud the whole way through and was grinning ear-to-ear at the end 😁 I've definitely discovered my genre as far as audio books go!📚💿🚗🚘❤📖
The #audiobook for this one was my second audiobook attempt, and apparently #comedy is the key to me not hating listening rather than reading. The story itself felt longer and more wandering than really necessary, but it was entertaining. Sean Schemmel's narration is AWESOME! So many unique, hilarious voices! I definitely recommend a listen.
