This was pretty good. Learned some things from it. Especially about being passive. I will recommend anyone to read this one.

This was my second “read” via audio. I‘m learning that I‘m a visual learner. Listening to books is not as engaging because I day dream often in between chapters. I will study the third time. It‘s a great book and I recommend it for any Christian battling fear and low self worth and daily nonsense that life brings.

The first book this year I couldn‘t bring myself to finish. This book would probably be listed in most christian‘s top 10 books to read so I was expecting big things, but to say it was a huge let-down is a massive understatement. Joyce uses boring and unrelatable anecdotes to try and make her point, which is basically over-trivialising all mental health issues down to being able to overcome them through a positive mindset alone. (1/5)

Call me anti-social, go ahead I don't care I really am. Holidays are the worst for quiet, crazy cat lady home dwellers like me cuz the people who are at work all the time are home. They bar-b-que, play loud music, and of course fight and yell at the top of their lungs. I have chosen to take the fan out of the window and close it, and I can still hear them and smell the lighter fluid which makes me light-headed. Here's a stack of books that help 🌭

Mimi28 Sorry to be preachy with my book choice. I just glance at it to clear my head. I will be watching WNBA games with my mom later 🏀🖥📒 I also need to journal more instead of venting my frustrations on here, but I figured most of you would rather read a book than deal with that stuff too 📚📖📒🏀✍🏽😻😻 8y
