pickA group of kids come together to fight the modernization and erasure of Nantucket‘s history. Are they teaming up with the island‘s ghosts or is there something more nefarious taking place? A fun read for the season, though the writing often felt pretty convoluted. And perhaps I should have seen it, but a good twist as well.

⭐️⭐️ Nantucket's island ghosts enlist local children to help them preserve what was once their historic homes from a developer that disregards the islands history. An interesting premise that unfortunately did not work. Disappointing as Balliett is a favorite author.
OMG. I LOVE Blue Balliett. She writes fantastic mysteries for kids. Can not wait for the newest.
