Dark Veronica Mars meets One of Us is Lying meets The Fixer series by Jennifer Lynne Barnes. AKA like all the elements of all of my favorite books/characters.

On the surface it‘s a “fun” thriller about a down-on-her-luck former popular girl who gets blackmailed into being a drug runner. Underneath it‘s a commentary on female double standards, rape culture, and women owning their power.

I hope this one gets more buzz. Like, any buzz. Read it!
