This is a great story to read to children especially girls because it encourages you to follow your dreams and to be women in stem.
This was a major turning point for Ada. She was excited to realize that math and imagination did not have to be opposites- as her mother had wanted so desperately to impress upon her- they actually went together!
I really enjoyed this book because it‘s an encouraging story about women in the STEM field. Ada‘s mom didn‘t want her to grow up with a “wild imagination like her father” so she planned music lessons and royal balls for Ada to attend. Her mom didn‘t want her to be an engineer. This is about being sure to follow your dreams even if it‘s not what other people want for you.
Ada Lovelace reading and learning to "become a proper lady and wife" as her mother wanted. #charactersreading
