My very messy #BookSpin & #BookSpinBingo list for February! I did really good for January. If I can finish The Menopause Manifesto, I will have three bingos! Will post my board before 1/2. 😄

This was a solid entry into the series and a lot of fun. The setting is a not quite Disney amusement park called Lowryland and I loved the take on working there because in a previous era I was a Disney employee and found Antimony's experience very relatable.

Yep, it's confirmed: Antimony Price is my favourite of the Price children, and that's due in no small part to what happens in this book. I love the themes of found family we get in this one, as well as the sheer courage that Antimony has to just do the right thing, even if it means she might not ever see her family again.
Probably the last book I'll read for a while; I'm moving house next weekend and I'll be back at uni right after. I might try to squeeze in one book in the week I have off to move. The book, as always for the incredible Seanan McGuire, was amazing. Not as amazing as 'Magic For Nothing' but still worthy. Book includes Aeslin mice novella 'The Recitation Of The Most Holy And Harrowing Pilgrimage Of Mindy And Also Mork.'
This one was my favorite in the Incryptid series! I can't wait for more!
And that‘s it for #ReverseReadathon! Five books and 20ish hours of solid reading time. I read the entire InCryptid series (so far, books 1-7) this week, finishing today, and I have to say I liked 5-7 MUCH better than the first 4. #5 because I love So You Think You Can Dance, which is sort-of parodied, 6-7 because Antimony & Sam are a better couple than the other Prices + partners. The world building is what really makes them worth reading, though.
Brief restorative nap (or falling asleep on my iPad, whatever) complete! Time for #ReverseReadathon book three.
I don't think I'll be able to see amusement parks the same way 😂 plus will always read the small print; through the likes of Google and Disney probably already own my soul 🙈🙈
Love this #urbanfantasy book and series! Annie comes into her own in this installment. Bonus short story featuring the Aeslin mice too. Gotta love a book that takes place in Lakeland, FL- in my home county here in Florida 😊
I can't help it - I love all the Incryptid books. This is another Antimony book: derby girl magic user, incognito and on the run, gets job at theme park. Shenanigans ensue. I missed the Aeslin mice, but I think that means I'll just appreciate them more when we see them again.
So, ever had a simple six word dedication get you all choked up? It might happen when you don't know a friend is dedicating her next novel to you and your spouse and you find out after you get a copy at Barnes & Noble and open the book to start to read it. #yeahthathappened
You know that feeling when you preorder a book and then don't think about it again because it's not coming out forever, and then it shows up unexpectedly in your mailbox? #HappyTuesday
Guess what's dropped today? *bounce* *twirl*
