I read this book a couple years ago, and it's still the most unexpected, jaw-dropping twist I've ever read in my life. The story is intense and sexy. Naomi is in a psych ward where her boyfriend Lachlan is sweet and sexy and comes to visit her. But Max is the one that entertains her thoughts and wants desperately to see. The problem is, no one else thinks he is real but her. Is she crazy? Will you believe her?

Kaylamburson Haha yeah it's a bit steamy in moments. But I think the psychological thriller is much more of the story. You just need the romantic aspects to see how invested Naomi is in these characters. @Cupofjo 6y

Cupofjo @Kaylamburson I may have to give it a try.. I love psychological thrillers so much (but usually hate romance!). If the thriller is more prominent, then maybe I can get through the mushy stuff! ðŸ˜‚ 6y

There are a lot of twisted books on the top shelf there, but I think Unravel has a surprising twist that you definitely don't see coming. It's one of the few books that made my mouth drop in surprise when I got to "that part".

I also really like how the Amazon Store lays out the books. It's a perfect place to browse for gifts because everything is cover out & there are reviews & suggestions posted everywhere!
