Might be my fave yet! So good ☺️

Synopsis: “Crazy Rich Asians meets Gossip Girl by way of Jenny Han in this knock-out debut about a Korean American teen who is thrust into the competitive, technicolor world of K-pop.”
SHINE will be released September 29! You‘re going to want to preorder this one ✌🏽💕
On sale 9/15? Guess I better get reading 😳
I‘m determined to find a contemporary romance that will make me cry this summer — taking any and all recs 👇🏽
The first nice day in a week calls for a new book with the windows open 😎 Moulin Rouge meets Phantom of the Opera? Yes, puh-leeze!
Having so much trouble picking the next thing to read 😂 It‘s not like there‘s a shortage of time to relax with a book.
Last day in the sun 🌞 Returning to the Minnesota tundra tomorrow #beachread
A+ reading sitch right now 😎
LOVING this! Absolutely brutal Macbeth retelling for the #metoo era.
Officially off work until the 30th! 😱 I have some catching up to do to meet my Goodreads goal.
Finally getting to this! 🐍 I‘m absolutely obsessed with this Illumicrate special edition
Today marks five years since I left my last (and hopefully forever last) treatment center for my anorexia. I‘ve wanted to read Roxane Gay for a while but have been afraid of being triggered by the food talk. I‘m so glad I‘m in a good place in my recovery because this book is amazing, Gay is such a wonderful writer. This book is a difficult read, as expected, but also an important story
First, read THE BROMANCE BOOK CLUB and then get this on your TBR. It is just as delightful.
I‘ve been wanting to read this for a while.
I‘m also a Korean who was adopted in into a white family in a mainly white city. I count myself very lucky that I did not experience bullying growing up or ever had the inner conflict that Nicole experienced. Having other adopted friends, I know that I am definitely in the minority.
All the tears. All the stars.
If you loved THE HATING GAME, you‘re going to love the crap out of this one. I feel like this year has been one continuous reading slump but I love finding books like this that completely break and heal my heart.
Highly recommend.
Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate! Thanks to a snow emergency I had to get my car off the street by 8 am so I am currently the only one awake at my parents‘ house. Passing the time by starting this ☺️
My Funko Jem is so happy with this beautiful Illumicrate edition of the Collectors edition!
The last few Ruth Ware books I‘ve ever haven‘t impressed me much, but I really enjoyed this! Kind of lost steam towards the end but I really liked it overall.
I watched Megan give a TED talk about her journey of leaving her family and the Westboro Baptist Church (her grandfather was the infamous Pastor Fred Phelps), and I was completely blown away by her insight and her compassion. This book was difficult to listen to at times, the things WBC have done are just horrible, but Megan gives me hope that change is real and everyone deserves a second chance.
I absolutely ADORED “If I‘m Being Honest” so I was completely hyped to start this but it unfortunately missed the mark for me. I‘m not a huge fan of capsule romances that only last for a short period of time and this fell into that category. In the end, it‘s sadly a solid ⭐️⭐️⭐️ read for me.
I‘ve always been weirdly fascinated by cults and this story has interested me since it entered the public news a while ago.
Confession: I never read Once & Future even though it‘s been sitting on my shelf for a year.
But now with sequel in hand, I‘m ready to power through these!
Friends, I am about 80 pages in and can safely say this book is FABULOUS 🔪😱
Last night I got to moderate Marie Lu‘s event at a local indie. She was the sweetest and such a good conversationalist ☺️
What the actual hell did I just read 🤯
I knew I liked Tarryn Fisher but dang!
Part of me liked this even more than REBEL SEOUL 😱 But I also can never say no to some pining and separated lovers.
I‘m moderating my third author event next week and this time it‘s the fabulous MARIE LU!!!
Going to be finishing this two beauties before we talk 🥰🥰🥰🥰
This is obviously unlike any Leigh Bardugo I‘ve read yet and I LOVE IT so far.
Triggers warnings up the wazoo tho—this book is not going to be for everyone.
I really loved TO KILL A KINGDOM and am excited to see what Alexandra Christo has created this time ☺️ Perfect way to end the weekend.
Rain is causing horrible traffic so I‘m passing the time until it clears. THIS. BOOK. IS. AMAZING. ⚔️🐝🔑
Edit: THIS BOOK IS BRILLIANT. ALL OF THE STARS.
Definitely in the minority, but I absolutely loved #murdertrending and this was an excellent sequel, and the way it ended def paves the way for a third 😱
This was SO good that I‘m actually kind of speechless 😱
I wasn‘t a big fan of THE HEARTS WE SOLD, but I‘m really liking this so far 💀
Two families battling over a legendary grilled cheese recipe and their kids fall in love?! I love when publicists get me 😂😍
