This modern fantasy (F) book features Grin, a bottlenose dolphin, who meets many new sea friends. All of them are in trouble and need Grin‘s help. Throughout the book, it shows students how we can be friendly and help others. The illustrations are so creatively drawn and are very engaging. I would use this as a read aloud (RA) because of the colorful drawings, the fun rhyming scheme, and the life lesson it presents. #UCFLAE3414SP18

Laura.S Https://kids.nationalgeographic.com/animals/bottlenose-dolphin/ The link takes you to a kid friendly site about bottlenose dolphins. It would be really fun to tie in a science lesson about marine animals. UDL 7.2, optimize relevance and value aligns because this book teaches important values. EL 15, reinforce key ideas aligns because the helping is the main idea and each page tells that story. 6y
