5/150 I've read a lot of Star Trek novels (TOS, TNG, DS9, Voyager, etc), but this is probably the worst one. Taking place shortly after ST:TMP, Spock takes command of the Enterprise, while Kirk is demoted to First Officer. This could have made for an interesting story, but the characterization of Kirk and Spock are so far off they're unrecognizable. Spock becomes a cold ruthless tyrant, which just doesn't vibe with the character⬇️⬇️⬇️
