I think this could have used some tighter editing as there was some annoying (to me) repetition. That being said it was the perfect book for right now. Light, easy to put down and pick back up, etc.

Ugh. I read 200 pages of this even though the main character made me uncomfortable in how he treated women. After he broke a woman through horrible interrogation then took her to bed that was more than I could stand.

pickA really fascinating thriller focusing on a kidnapping survivor turned police officer. I hadn‘t read any other book in the series and was able to pick this up without any difficulty. This is a belated #netgalley ready, so thank you NetGalley! #readyourkindle

pickBook‘s not in the database… An interesting take on a pandemic thriller set on my favorite vacation island from my childhood. Kelly‘s Island in Lake Erie. The story was great, but it could have used another run through with an editor for a couple characters that felt a stereotyped. #readyourkindle
