I'm loving this book! Conversations about the nature of the universe in the tradition of classic Greek dialogues. This particular section reconciles the inability to move faster than the speed of light with the expansion of the universe. Fascinating theories presented in fairly laymen's terms.
#Bookhaul The Camille Rose Garcia illustrated Cinderella I had to have when I saw it. The Dialogues just sounded cool, plus my youngest will read anything in comic format, so he won't even realize he's learning from MIT Press's first graphic novel. The Batman mints are for my husband. And the other two books are gifts for my kids. My suitcase will be noticeably more heavy on my trip home tomorrow. 📚
Hey 👋🏻 #graphicnovelsnews is back
Today‘s #graphicnovel is the first MIT press comic where readers eavesdrop on conversations about contemporary science and learn about how scientists uncover the secrets of the universe. Topics in the book range from black holes, to the multiverse, to string theory, to food science. There are a lot of dialogues, be prepared))
Our next discussion is August 8 on The Complete Maus.
