Truth or Die
Truth or Die | James Patterson, Howard Roughan
The truth will set you free-if it doesn't kill you first. After a serious professional stumble, attorney Trevor Mann may have finally hit his stride. He's found happiness with his girlfriend Claire Parker, a beautiful, ambitious journalist always on the hunt for a scoop. But when Claire's newest story leads to a violent confrontation, Trevor's newly peaceful life is shattered as he tries to find out why. Chasing Claire's leads, Trevor unearths evidence of a shocking secret that-if it actually exists-every government and terrorist organization around the world would do anything to possess. Suddenly it's up to Trevor, along with a teenage genius who gives new meaning to the phrase "too smart for his own good," to make sure that secret doesn't fall into the wrong hands. But Trevor is about to discover that good and evil can look a lot alike, and nothing is ever black and white: not even the truth.

Kept you moving. Mann‘s girlfriend reporter is killed as she heads to a source. It‘s made to look like a random robbery, but Mann doesn‘t believe it. He tracks down the source and immediately finds himself in deep trouble and it looks like the CIA is the bad guys.

Listened to this on audio because I had no other audiobook. Not the greatest.

I like audiobooks when I walk. I like it better than music. James Patterson books seem to go well with walking because, though detailed, they're not detailed enough that you're going to miss anything if you're distracted for a bit. I really like the narrator of this one also, a narrator can make or break an audiobook. This narrator made it - EDOARDO BALLERINI.

Mcoun I totally agree - the narrator is critical! 7y

Quite disappointed with the book. It started out pretty boring and boring until almost the end. JP's books are far more better than this though. #ebook #suspense #thriller

I don't know how he cranks out so many wonderful books. I love his short chapters - makes the reading fly by. This is a great thriller. Highly recommend.
