Learning about the planets! LO already familiar with the song. Trying to get her to be interested in the planets and its atmosphere.

Pickpick

National Geographic Kids Planets is a NonFiction (NF) book written by Elizabeth Carney. I am a huge fan of astronomy so I found this book very interesting. The book has information about the Sun, Inner Planets, the Gas Giants, our Solar System, etc. This informational book would be great for a science lesson about space! I thought this would be a great book for students to ready together. ⬇️

AmeliaS21 Partner Reading (PR) would allow the students to have mini discussions about the facts they are reading. I chose this resource because it includes a variety of fun projects and activities about Planets you can do with your students in the classroom. http://inspirationlaboratories.com/planet-activities/ ⬇️ 6y
AmeliaS21 UDL 2.1 clarify vocabulary and symbols and UDL 3.1 activate or supply background knowledge would align with this book. I chose ESOL strategy 4 link lesson topic to student‘s prior knowledge for this book. Go on an informational journey through space and check this book out! #UCFLAE3414SP18 6y
