A fascinating book, the authors provide some good evidence for the Freemasons being one of the groups that arose after the destruction of the Templars. I had no idea how much banking the Templars did! Also, the British approach to the Revolutionary War was really interesting to read. The Freemason lodges in the military really acted as neutral ground and helped soldiers on all three sides.
3:5 stars, read for a history of the templars & masons

catiewithac The king of France didn‘t want to pay his debts to the Templars, so he accused them all of worshipping the devil and being sodomites. Sound familiar?? 2y
iread2much @catiewithac sadly yes…. Also, they refused to let him into the Temple, like the they did with the English kings, so he was all offended. 2y
