Otters are one of my favorite animals. This had a lot of great info. Like how otters affect our ecosystems and why we should care. Some effects are positive, and others not so much. Sadly climate change and encroachment into fishing territories make them still at risk in some areas. I now also know more about kelp than I ever thought I would. Overall a great book though very academic in spots.

Stopped in this cute little bookstore located in Carmel-by-the-sea. Grabbed the tagged book (sea otters are one of my faves!) and another. Will post those later!

I fell off the wagon and went to my favorite bookstore for some retail therapy. I don't feel bad about it.

SandyW There are many other worse forms of retail therapy. 😜 7y
