I‘m a far cry from the 15hr passed mark in this weekend‘s #24in48 readathon, but I‘m making headway. And, I just finished my first book of the challenge. Woohoo! Taking a break to write my review and throw some laundry into the dryer. Then maybe I‘ll hunker down with my other book, Out, that I‘ve been trying to read. I just have been spending way too much time with Hulu and Netflix when I get home from work lately. 😆

monkeygirlsmama Side note: This was an excellent follow up installment in the Sarah‘s Legacy series. I will hold off sharing my review here u til the correct book, Sarah‘s Legacy Shared: Book 2, is added to the @Litsy database. @Beiler (edited) 5y

Coming in late to the #24in48 party cause I fell asleep too early last night, but here I am! Hope everyone else is off to a great start and enjoying some fabulous reads. 😊

I‘m actually beta reading Sarah‘s Legacy Shared: Book Two for Daisy right now. However, we‘ve got to get it added to the Litsy database, hence the first book tag. Can‘t wait to see where this goes as I‘m already loving it.

Finished this excellent Christian inspired historical fiction today during lunch. Daisy told a wonderful story in which she perfectly blended fact with fiction. Her story crafting ability shined as she fused her real life setting, characters, and history with her made up vision for them. I don‘t typically go for historical reads, but this one provided a well written and entertaining look into an average family‘s life during the 1800s. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Yep, I think I‘ve found a character to relate to. 😆📖💙

Just started this with breakfast. ☕️ It‘s set in my grandma‘s hometown which I‘m vaguely familiar with as we are there once or twice a week. She‘s already read the book, and remembers being a teenager sneaking into one of the houses that is prominent in this story. Oh, and the real characters were friends of my great grandma‘s (who I was always close with until she died in 2001 at age 98). So, yeah, kinda looking forward to this. 😏
