Exciting to those unfamiliar with Rumis verse as well as to the veteran scholar, this volume, following on Love Is My Savior, offers more of the little-known Arabic poems of Mawlana Rumi. These poems take the reader on a journey of spiritual search, ecstatic union, universal salvation, and mystic reconciliation, in which Rumi reveals his soul and welcomes everyone to his spiritual feast. This dual-language volume, with its informative introduction, is one of the first to bring Rumis Arabic poems into English, and it opens a treasury of Rumis mystic thought and electrifying poetry. The poems pulsate with desire and longing, with erotic meaning, and with ecstatic celebration. Rumi found in his mystic poetry a vehicle for the expression of the endless spiritual bounties of love. The reader will find, at the center of his faith and doctrine, love and a strong belief in universal salvation and unlimited generosity.

I broke into the tiramisu Kit Kat a little sooner than expected. The brown stick is espresso flavoured while the white one is mascarpone. #readathon

Leniverse Oh wow. Not a fan of Kit Kat, (I consider it an interior version of the Norwegian KvikkLunsj 😂) and not a big fan of Tiramisu either (but it's the spouse's fave dessert), but I must admit that I am drawn to your picture of the Tiramisu KitKat! 6y

xicanti @TricksyTails I do! I know someone who always bites into Kit Kats across the sticks, even when they aren't mixed flavours, and I discovered it's a great way to get a satisfying amount of chocolate bar in your mouth all at once. 6y
xicanti @Leniverse I was underwhelmed the one time I ate actual tiramisu, but this Kit Kat is my new favourite. 6y
AlaMich @xicanti This sounds very scientific (the biting across he sticks)! 😉 But you‘re right, we have a definite KitKat flavor deficiency here. I have heard that Japan rules the world of creative and wacky KK flavors. (edited) 6y

xicanti @AlaMich so far I've tried Cookies & Cream, New York Cheesecake Chunky, Espresso Ganache, and Green Tea (which is only widely available around Lunar New Year). I still need to get to Peanut Butter Chunky, Cookies & Mint, and Salted Caramel. 6y

xicanti @AlaMich I forgot about Kit Kat ice cream! It's got Kit Kat bites in chocolate & vanilla swirl, and the chocolate part of the ice cream tastes like the creme between the wafers. 6y
