#LitsyPSA: It looks like court is out, for now. The TRO (the attempt to stop a challenge to the TM) has been denied so it looks like the TM challenge will continue. From what I‘m seeing so far it looks like the judge thinks the TM for cocky is weak. Euna Park (handle is eunapark) has tweeted some in what she heard and others will likely do the same. #cockygate
#LitsyPSA: #cockygate is in court today. Suzan Tisdale and Courtney Milan have tweeted over the last couple of days but no one has details yet. It looks like Hopkins is going after the creator of Cocky Tales for anyone who bought it. I think I need to order a paper copy, on principle.
This is one of the books that the authors opted to change its name - it‘s now Arrogant Fiance. Some of the trademark stuff that Hopkins is doing might not fall under what she trademarked & it looks like she has trademarked or wordmarked the font that she can‘t legally trademark. This all appears to be a ploy to get her books higher in searches. Anyway, if you want to help beleaugered authors out, here‘s one you could buy. #cockygate
