Pickpick

Leighton Gage, another favorite author, lived in São Paulo Brazil for 20 years and has captured problems in the Brazilian culture that existed there and are foreign to the American culture. Books cover subjects of underage prostitution, organ theft, snuff videos, and much more. I have enjoyed his Chief Inspector Mario Silva series and hope you will too.

AlaMich I read this a long time ago and liked it, as best I can remember. I find Brazil very interesting. I really should keep going with this series. So many books, so little time! (edited) 6y

AlaMich @EadieB Sadly, that can be said of a great deal of Latin America. 6y
