Being Canadian myself, I enjoyed this book set in Yukon, Calgary and Vancouver. The storyline itself hurt my heart but sometimes reading about some people‘s hardships makes you understand them better. It centres around residential schools, loss of a child and alcoholism but most importantly it centres around love and healing
