so-so

Thank You For Smoking is funny and fast-paced and just a little farcical. It‘s a thoroughly entertaining read. The thing is, reading it reaffirmed all the arguments I‘ve ever heard in favour of – not quitting smoking, don‘t be ridiculous – not watching the movie before you‘ve read the book (or, at least, not reading the book of a movie you‘ve enjoyed).
