It kept my attention—very compelling stuff, but it felt almost like an outline of a book
Reviewsbylola The author could not have strayed farther from Capote‘s story telling methods. I can‘t understand why he didn‘t attempt to actually tell a story, instead of just laying out the facts for us. It‘s the most bare bones true crime book I‘ve ever read, while still including a plethora of facts. So while I really enjoyed it, I have to give it a so-so. 4y
