Interesting concept. This was actually similar to a novel idea that I had as a teen, which was really a trip reading it in someone else‘s words. I wanted to like it more than I did. For a maximum security prison, the main character has a lot of free range on the rig. Properly classified as YA, this book is the story of a boy who has a knack of escaping out of locked facilities, a hellish prison built on an old oil rig, an unlikely friendship, and a dreadful, shocking secret.
