Honestly I was really exited for this book because of the “the power of five” line. That line really caught my attention and I thought it would be great. I quickly realized that this book didn‘t reach my expectations, I had to kinda drag myself through it and wasn‘t really that exited about reading it, but somehow I went to the library to get the next one in the series, I‘m not giving up on this series yet

A real average book, to be honest. However, the series does get better as it goes (more reviews to come) and its a fairly easy, quick read. Also, I really enjoy the lack of a romance angle. I really appreciate YA literature that has male protagonists and no romance. We need more of it.

I also found this book today and it looks soooooooo soo good. What got me was when it said Matt got in trouble and he had the chose of going to juvenile jail or going to live with a creepy old lady.....he should have chosen jail!!! This #1 of a 5 book series!!! Any lovers of the Gatekeepers series?

A good little reading, but not more for now, I am just waiting for the next book to have a better idea of the saga.
