I loved parts of this book but it didn‘t come together as a whole. Domingue vividly imagines an afterlife for ghosts and shows us Razi‘s tragic history as she haunts another couple marked by tragedy. The intermingling of Razi‘s memories of her romance with Andrew in the 1920s with the present is deft. Unfortunately I cracked the twist earlier than expected and at times it seemed like overdone prose got in the way of the story. Soft pick. #bookspin

Revisiting a favorite. I read this in 2007 or so and loved it so much that I gave a copy to my mom and grandma.

I'm mixed on this one. It kept me reading but I'm really not sure I loved it.

Adding my stamp to this book I bought from Better World Books - I love thinking about the places used books have travelled.

A lesser known title & author, but this one ranks up in my top three. A ghost story/love story, with some of the most beautiful writing I've had the pleasure to indulge in. If I had to recommend an unfamiliar author & book to another reader, this would be the one.
