And, hello. I‘m back. After nearly a year of coping, managing and losing one of my favorite things I do...I missed this. So this title feels a little like a metaphor. I went through Hospice, pseudo-nursing, losing my dad, grief and an attempt at learning who I am without “Daddy‘s Girl” as a defining characteristic. Bookish I still am. Critical thinking, interpreting and writing...I‘m coming back.
Because if you're reading Stephen King at bedtime, a sharp knife is a good call, right?
I am finding myself reading this with a half smile on my face. Early into this one, but it's great so far.
Just another night reading too late...my Kindle tells me I will be finished in an hour. Why stop then, right? Sqwooshy says to read on.

pickIt certainly WAS a different day for Eleanor. This book started out super for me and then lost its punch on the way through. It was witty, sad and finds hope. The illustration section in the middle is fantastic.
pickPictured are my favorite "cat annoyances". I think Ove and the grumpy old man from "Up" are kindred spirits. This was a great book about a man finding beauty in life after his wife dies.
