From the author of The Escape, Twisted, and Truly, Madly, Deadly comes a chilling new thriller that asks: what happens if your real life became stranger and deadlier than fiction? Everyone is dying to read the latest book in the popular Gap Lake mystery series, and Addison is no exception. As the novels biggest fan, she's thrilled when the infamously reclusive author, R.J. Rosen, contacts her, giving her inside information others would kill for. Addison's always dreamed of what it would be like if the books were real...But then she finds the most popular girl in school dead. Murdered. And realizes that life imitating fiction is more dangerous that she could have imagined. As other terrifying events from the books start happening around her, Addison has to figure out how to write her own ending—and survive the story.

So... the new Goodreads is basically just a rip-off of Litsy's style, no?

Faranae I'm on old GoodReads, or well GoodReads from the redesign last year (?), which is not great but not Litsy. Now I'm curious what they're trying now, because constant redesign is sort of the zeitgeist of the web now (visible changes make executives happy...). I haven't used GR for actually logging books this year, just for finding the English editions of the Polish book entries for the URC. 14mo
willaful I mostly use it for getting ISBNs for my reading log. It's yet another beloved social media outlet that went evil on me. (Long before the redesign.) 14mo

Pickpick

The audio was a quick one only 5.5 hrs. A fun YA read when your looking for an easy read. The death of a high school girl seems to be a imitation of a death from a Gap Lake teen mystery series. The only complaint is that the murderer was a bit predictable but I still found the book entertaining. It‘s not too suspenseful and there is a lot of action. I would recommend to those who like YA mysteries. Thanks to Tantor and LibraryThing early reviewer.
