This book is a bit on the fence for me. I thoroughly enjoyed the unique plot device and setting of Nine, but it was lacking in a few areas, mainly being, backstory. The book places us right into this world, which is fine, but at no point is it explained how this world came to be, it‘s only hinted at. Other than that and a few plot holes, this book did keep me reading for about a month. There‘s really no need for a sequel, but a prequel fits well.
