I should have liked this more than I did, it's usually my kind of story, lots of action, outrageous twists and last second rescues. Why not a pick? I think it's mainly because all the characters were pretty unlikable, whiny, self-centered and a little bitchy. 3 💥💥💥 out of 5.

Letter A for #LitsyAtoZ

On to the letter B, Bug Jack Barron.

Another whammy. Insomnia + being home alone makes it hard to go to sleep so I knocked this one out. Third book of #24b42019. The book had a cool idea but it‘s boring basic sci-fi. Awful characters are abound in this one. You won‘t regret reading it but you probably won‘t be dying to reread it. It‘s got a rad cover though.

This was one of several books I read on my flights home. This was a book I wouldn't have picked up a year ago and I'm glad I did. A tourist ship is out on a normal tour when something unexpected happens leaving them stranded in space.

I was REALLY emotionally invested in these guys by the end which surprised me. Lots of twists, just enough background to make you feel for the characters without being too much (flashbacks can sometimes take me right out of the story and if over long). A grand SF survival adventure story. 4*

Moving on to this -- I've been reading a few pages over coffee and will probably (hopefully?) get through pretty quickly. Space thriller, written in present tense which I don't love but quick-paced enough for my current inertia. A crappy tour ship just escapes the total annihilation of the vacation resort station from which it came. This looks like a bit of a survival thriller though I'm not far in.

This was a solid 4 star book. Super interesting but I must admit that I wasn't on the edge of my seat like I thought I would be.
A small tourist ship is stranded in space. Tensions high and food and water low and no one knows they are adrift in space.

TheNeverendingTBR This sounds amazing! Thanks for posting! 🙂 6y

I thought this book was pretty good, and definitely worth a read
4ish ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Summary: A small tour ship with crew and passengers is suddenly in the midst of an attack, and they must survive in space, adrift

My only problems with it were; There's only so much constant peril I can handle, and I don't think all the characters were fully developed

Scott_BookInvasion This one is on my list, it looks good. 6y
