Is Josh Nadeau a writer or an artist? I think a little bit of both. His writing is music to my soul. Room for Good Things to Run Wild is his journey to true living. I'm talking about true living for Jesus. To take those everyday moments and find God in every aspect. I am a Christian and love God. This book helped me realize that we can all do better. We each can become a saint in some way. We all experience the ups and downs of life, ⬇️

MonicaLoves2Read but we each have a chance for a true relationship with Jesus. To hear His Hidden Music. To try to be better than they day before. To love those around us. We don't have to have a huge group, or in this social media time, a huge number of followers. We just need to be kind and loving the way Jesus was to everyone He encountered.

Thanks to Goodreads for the Giveaway, W Publishing Group, and Josh Nadeau for Room for Good Things to Run Wild. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

😊 Happy Reading 😊

I started this book on December 21, 2024, and finished it tonight on January 20, 2025.
One reason it took me a month to read is that it is a chunkster of a book. I, also, went down the rabbit hole, which I seem to do when I read a history book. The Fate of the Day covers the American Revolutionary War from 1777-1780. It's the 2nd volume in The Revolution Trilogy.

I thought I knew a lot about the Revolutionary War. It's a subject we are ⬇️

MonicaLoves2Read taught about in school, though I have been out of school for 33 years. I learned a lot from this book. I obviously missed part of it in school, was never taught some parts, or I have forgotten some of it. For instance, I knew that France helped America during the war, but I never knew that the Germans helped Britain. Or, the Indians helped both sides, and sometimes, the same Indians helped both sides at the same time. One thing that surprised me was that they hung people who helped the British without a trail.

Atkinson takes you on an adventure through this time in the American Revolution. He takes you from America to France with Benjamin Franklin, as well as Britain and Ireland. Even though it took me a month to read, because I was reading other books along with this one (I usually have 6 or 7 books going at a time), I enjoyed it. If you love history, I recommend this book to you.

Tentative Publication Date: April 29, 2025

I won an ARC through a Goodreads Giveaway. Thanks to Goodreads, Penguin Random House, Crown Publishing, and Rick Atkinson for the book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

😊 Happy Reading 😊

You Have Gone Too Far | Carlene O'Connor

You Have Gone Too Far is the first book I have read by Carlene O'Connor. I won it through a Goodreads Giveaway. I was quickly drawn into the book, even though this is the 3rd installment in the County Kerry Series. I feel it can be read as a stand-alone, as I did, without any problem.

I enjoyed getting to know the main characters. There seems to be a little romance in the air that has seemed to be growing for a while. I enjoyed the ⬇️

MonicaLoves2Read other characters as well. I plan on reading the first two books in the series to get to know all the characters better. I thought overall the book was good, though in one part, it seems O'Connor decided to go in a different direction with the plot. As I have never read her before, I am not sure if it was intentional or not.

29 years ago, in County Kerry, there was a cult. Three boys have found a body in the bog girsly murdered. Is the cult resurfacing?

Thanks to Goodreads for the book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

😊Happy Reading 😊

For Love and Glory | Cindy Bonner

5⭐️
I don't usually read romances, but I love reading WWII novels. This was a spellbinding, wonderful read. It's the first book I have read by Cindy Bonner, but it won't be my last.

It's 1940, and Lange DeLony just lost his estranged. He decides that he needs a fresh start. He is a cropduster, so he decides to join the RAF. On his way to his post, he meets Mackie. Soon, he is unable to get her out of his mind.

Bonner's MCs grew ⬇️

MonicaLoves2Read throughout the book. It is a well-written book. I felt as though I was leaving friends behind when I closed the book.

I won this book through a Goodreads Giveaway. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

😊 Happy Reading 😊

Bette Thanks for this. It reminded me of her first book, Lily, which I read decades ago. A few of us at the library read it and loved it so I‘m excited to read this now. 3mo
MonicaLoves2Read @Bette I really enjoyed it. Hope you enjoy it 3mo

Wow! Robbie's vulnerability and truth about this book makes it a compelling read. He lost his daughter, Emilie, in the Sandy Hook school shooting. If that wasn't bad enough, he was then bullied by Alex Jones.
I thought it was great that Robbie took on a big bully and won. I think everyone should read this book. 5⭐️ read!

😊 Happy Reading 😊

I love football. I watch college and NFL. There were interesting stories in this book from high school, college, and pro. Posnanski goes from the start of the NFL through the 2010's. If you enjoy football, you would probably enjoy this book.

I received this book from a Goodreads Giveaway. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

😊Happy Reading 😊
