Tonight, I‘m sharing my listening progress on the audiobook that I started listening to. This is the 3rd book I‘ve listened to this month where the main character‘s name is Jane. In the first 2 books from the Jane Hawk series, there‘s an FBI agent named Jane. In this book that I‘m reading, there‘s a detective named Jane. The only difference between these two is that Jane Hawk is on the run and Jane Tennison is trying to find a serial killer.
Here‘s my reading progress for a book I‘m currently listening to. I‘m reviewing this book for Bookish First. It‘s good so far. I decided to listen to this book without reading the first 3 books in the series. This is the 4th book in this series and I don‘t feel like I‘m missing out on anything important.
Haven't made a lot of progress on #13in3 this weekend, but I'm starting this rainy Sunday morning strong and hope to finish this book soon.
Set in 1979 in London, Lynda la Plant tells a tale of multiple murders with some really gruesome moments. It‘s full of great detail from the bin men strikes and the Winter of discontent which adds a feeling of reality to it all. I love the way she describes the characters clothing too, which really helps draw a picture of everyone and builds the atmosphere of the time and their personal circumstances.....a great twist too
I don‘t know how she does it but every time I pick up a book by Lynda I know I am in for a real treat. Another brilliantly written murder investigation with Jane tennison as part of the investigative team. This book has a beautifully woven plot that will keep you engaged loved it
