Had a great start to #Scarathlon, though I have some reading to do to get to 20 hours for #20in4. I started my reread of the tagged book on audio.

I finished my 10th and final book of the #SummerEndReadathon. See tagged book, which was ok. This means I officially finished my goals for the readathon: 10 books, well more than 1k pages read, attended 2 book clubs, and posted throughout the month. @TheSpineView
I finished my 9th book of #SummerEndReadathon. I can honestly say that I didn't enjoy this one even remotely close to how much I enjoyed A Room With A View. I didn't like the characters and how women were portrayed. @TheSpineView

Here is my October bucket list for #Scarathlon. It is hard for my list to not seem like a summer list since it is still 90 degrees outside 🙃. #SpookyGhostClub @Clwojick
I finished my 8th book for #SummerEndReadathon. I really enjoyed parts - like the history of time - but mostly this book was kind of boring and a bit pointless. I feel like time is mostly dictated by society now. I'm also on the side that it is going too quickly. Maybe when I am retired (many years from now), time will be my own and hopefully will go a bit slower.
@TheSpineView
Thank you so much everyone for all the wonderful birthday wishes and gifts! You all helped make this a fantastic birthday! ❤️❤️❤️

Finished my 7th read of the #SummerEndReadathon. I understand the concept of mindfulness, but my ability to execute it just does not seem to be happening. Has anyone successfully done habitual mindfulness or meditation? If so, I want to know all about it.
@TheSpineView
Finished my 6th book for the #SummerEndReadathon. It was a fun read for the classics book club I'm in. @TheSpineView
Here is my watch list of both TV series & Movies for #Scarathlon . Looking forward to being terrified 😀
#SpookyGhostClub @Clwojick

3. Hallowe'en Party
4. The Book of Cold Cases
5. Ghost 19
6. Broken Girls
7. The Haunting of Hill House
8. 2001: A Space Odyssey

If you haven't signed up for #Scarathlon you should. It is sooo much fun!!! Here's the link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdnawYo1IDsBAr2s_LlqzBQlxM8KGwIqDxE1Dm4...
Go team #SpookyGhostClub @Clwojick
I am taking some time today to catch up on this read with the #pemberlittens ! I got a bit behind this week. @BarkingMadRead
#SummerEndReadathon @TheSpineView
Finished my 5th book of #SummerEndReadathon. I don't recommend this book. I enjoyed the Down To Earth series on Netflix, but this book just made me feel bad about myself - that I'm doing everything wrong: shower too much; use the wrong shampoo & cleaning supplies; wear the wrong clothes; eat the wrong foods, etc. He gave some solutions, but many weren't feasible for individuals on a budget or allowable in our society. @TheSpineView
So I think I signed up for this, though I didn't get a confirmation... fingers crossed because I am really looking forward to it. Anyone creating a list of all the readathons, challenges etc. going on next month? #scarathlon
@StayCurious @Clwojick
Finished my 4th read for #SummerEndReadathon just in time for tonight's book club meeting (International Journey Through Pages Book Club: https://meetu.ps/e/Mnp5d/zxXbQ/i). This is a graphic novel, which is not my typical reading format, but I absolutely loved this. It was funny but also had an amazing message.
@TheSpineView
Finished my 3rd book toward my #SummerEndReadathon goals. I liked sections of this book and then thought other sections were too opinionated. Some of the opinions I flat out disagreed with. Maybe I am too much of a true crime junkie. @TheSpineView
The online book club that I lead is discussing the tagged book in one week (Asian American author), so it is probably time for me to start reading the book 😀. #SummerEndReadathon @TheSpineView
International Journey Through Pages Book Club: https://meetu.ps/e/Mnp5d/zxXbQ/i
Finished my 2nd book of #SummerEndReadathon ! This book uses Bible passages to guide individuals in setting boundaries in their lives. There were a few useful chapters for me, but it felt like a majority of the book was how to establish boundaries in raising children, which is not pertinent to me or my life. I've read other books on this topic that have been more useful to me. @TheSpineView
Finished the first book toward my #SummerEndReadathon goals! I just really needed a book that was a bit mindless - not sad, deep, or depressing. This read fit the bill. It is not a standalone, though, and I haven't made up my mind if this trilogy is worth continuing. @TheSpineView
3 out of 5 🌟
Put together my September book pile, which doesn't include the audiobooks & ebooks I intend to read as well. #SummerEndReadathon @TheSpineView
The tagged book was my favorite read of August and probably gonna be in the running for my favorite book of the year. #2023ReadingBracket #bookclubread
I was hoping to do some kind of readathon this holiday weekend, but I think I'll do a whole month readathon. Best way to spend my birthday month! My goals are:
📚 Finish 10 books
📚 Attend 2 book clubs
📚 Read at least 1,000 pages
📚 Post progress (I've not always been the best at this)
#SummerEndReadathon @TheSpineView
After some heavy reads, it was fun to read a fantastical thriller for a change. It was a good book to bring on vacation with me. I tried to guess who died and who the killer was, and I was wrong on both accounts. #66 of #Roll100 @PuddleJumper
I may not have had much time in the last week to read, but books have not been far from my mind. I'm looking forward to reading some of the New Zealand authors I discovered and highly recommend the tagged bookstore.
This was a nice reprieve from the nonfiction and tense fiction books I've been reading lately. I wish the ending wasn't so hurried. Also, did they go on the cruise? Anyway, I'm happy I read it. #25 of #Roll100 @PuddleJumper
Well per usual, I strayed from my bookstack to read other random things, mostly audiobooks, while I did a lot of house cleaning. Still finished 3 books though and am almost done with 2 others. I think this was a pretty successful day of reading! Thanks @DeweysReadathon! #DeweysRR2023 #reversereadathon
I do have a readathon book pile, and I'll be pretty happy if I complete at least one of these. I'm mostly hoping to get a jump start on my August reading. I did manage to finish the tagged book on audio while watching the US women's first win of the World Cup.⚽️📚 @DeweysReadathon #bookpile #TBR #DeweysRR2023 #reversereadathon
Let's do this! I'm scrambling a bit after work, and will have to audiobook while the US women's world cup soccer game is on in an hour, but I'm still super excited to have some quality reading time. @DeweysReadathon #readathon #reversereadathon #deweyjuly #deweys24hourreadathon
So happy to be reading this one finally!!! 💓 #pemberlittens @BarkingMadRead
These are my July #Roll100 books. Let's hope with the reading challenges and readathons, I can finish at least one of these before the month is up. I literally just finished a #10 from May. 😆
@PuddleJumper
Decided to join this July reading challenge for a great cause!

After reading the tagged book, I decided to try my first sound bath meditation at the Buffalo Bayou Cistern. It was one of the most unique experiences. #weekendvibes
#JoysOfJune goal status:
📚 Finished 2 audiobooks
📚 Finished the IJTP book club read
📚 Started Islands of Abandonment #naturalitsy
Not doing too bad toward my goals. 😊
@Andrew65
I've once again fallen behind on my reading due to work, so I am hoping the #JoysOfJune readathon will get me back on track. My goals:
📚 Finish 2 audiobooks
📚 Finish IJTP book club read
📚 Finish #Roll100 read
📚 Catch up on Old Friends & New Fancies
📚 Start Islands of Abandonment
📚 Start classics book club read
📚 Read for at least 20 hours
#readathon @Andrew65
With a lot of intense work deadlines coming up, I am taking advantage of the holiday weekend by resting and reading. I hope to read for 20 hours during the #20in4 #readathon. Have a great holiday everyone! @Andrew65
Started the tagged book while enjoying my final cappuccino and cornetto in Sicily before heading home. #Roll100 @PuddleJumper
Window shopping at a bookstore in Palermo with a fantastic window reflexion.
Once again, I fell behind on my #Roll100 read. This read was for April. To be honest, I didn't enjoy this one. I thought a majority of it was pretty pointless and boring. The end was a bit better, though - at least something happened. Hopefully, my next read will be a bit better. Love my #LitsyLove mug! ❤️
@PuddleJumper @LitsyLove
Since I will be in Italy in one week, I thought I would make myself a cappuccino for the first time in many months while I finished my book club book. This book was similar in some ways to the Diary of Anne Frank, as it was from the perspective of a young girl. This was a glimpse of a piece of South African history that I knew nothing about. https://meetu.ps/e/LPmDZ/zxXbQ/i
I have one week until i leave for vacation, so this is crunch time at work, packing and finishing up the books I am in the middle of. Here is what I hope to accomplish for #MagnificentMay:
📚 Finish book club read
📚 Finish April #Roll100 book (bit behind on that)
📚 Finish Cranford #pemberlittens
I am not making any reading time goals, as I just don't know how much time I will have. @Andrew65
Got my #LitsyLove mug yesterday, which will be featured in another post later, since I used it this morning during my coffee and reading session. Plus, I got spoiled with some extra goodies, including a book I've been wanting to read for the last 6 months. Love this group! ❤️ @LitsyLove
