Some say the term #BreakALeg originated during Elizabethan times when, instead of applause, the audience would bang their chairs on the ground — and if they liked it enough, the leg of the chair would break.

Book 7 in the Potting Shed mysteries is set in an outdoor production of Shakespeare‘s A Midsummer Night‘s Dream & there‘s more than a broken leg as Pru, garden designer & detective must solve the murder of one of the actors.

Eggs This is too cool 👍🏼 😎 🦵 1y

#ReadYourSign #7thBookInASeries #libra

The 7th book in the Potting Shed Mystery series finds Master Gardener Pru Park acting as the set designer for an outdoor production of A Midsummer Night‘s Dream at a nearby estate. There‘s a murder & Pru is on the case helping the police & her Chief Inspector husband solve the mystery. I had challenges keeping names straight as there were actor names + their play characters, but overall a quick & good cozy.

The finished Watercress & Sweet Leek Soup with Horseradish-Creme Fraiche Croutes is really tasty—a good balance of flavors with sweet, savory & peppery. From the cookbook tagged below with link to recipe.

Trying to start this book for #ReadYourSign but we are mid-way through June & I‘ve barely started my 7 book prompts.😬It‘s is the 7th book in a series (7 is my ruling #) Luckily, it‘s the latest in a cozy series I read & haven‘t read it yet.👍
